The competitors themselves would be among the first to say that they don’t win by themselves; a huge range of people work together to bring the athletes to world-class level. This includes managers, coaches, technical support, physios, and other team members and sports psychologists. We feature a few individuals here such as Linda Moir, who delivered superb customer service and Charles van Commenee, who knows how to bring the best out of superb athletes, enabling them to win gold when it matters.
