Howard Webb is a former English football referee who operated in the Premier League and has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2005. He is currently working with broadcaster BT Sport on their Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup coverage and with ITV on their coverage of the European Championships.

Howard refereed almost 300 matches in the English Premier League. He became a household name when he officiated as a referee both the UEFA Champions League Final and FIFA World Cup Final in 2010. His c career highlights include overseeing many high-profile finals such as the English FA Cup Final in 2009 and English League Cup Final in 2007. He retired from active refereeing in 2014 to take up the position of Technical Director of PGMOL which oversees refereeing matters in the professional game in England and also became a FIFA referee instructor.
