Keren holds a CISSP certification and Master's in security studies from the prestigious Security & Technology workshop at Tel Aviv University where she is a senior researcher with the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center. In 2016, Keren founded Israel's largest security community event, BSidesTLV which was part of the global SecurityBSides movement. She is also the founder of Leading Cyber Ladies, a global professional network for Women in Cyber Security. In 2017, Ms. Elazari was selected by Forbes as one of Israel's "most influential women" and featured on the cover of Forbes Israel. In 2020, Keren was Featured by Forbes as one of 20 "Hackers who shaped history". Keren Elazari is the first Israeli woman who gave a TED talk at the official TED Conference.
