Michael Jacobides is a leading professor in entrepreneurship and strategy in an era of increasing digitisation and deregulation. He holds the Sir Donald Gordon Chair of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at London Business School, where he is Professor of Strategy. As well as this, he is an Academic Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group, a Visiting Scholar at the New York Fed, and Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University.

Michael has worked with some of the world's largest corporate organisations on how they deal with changes in industry structure, digital ecosystems and a shifting strategy landscape. Amongst other accolades, his work has received the Sloan Foundation Award. His work has appeared in numerous top academic journals, including in the Harvard Business Review. Michael has also worked on policy with the UK Government, the European Council and has been a co-author of the World Economic Forum's White Paper on Digital Platforms and Ecosystems. In July 2019 he was the Thinkers50 Thinker of the Month.
