Patrick "Paddy" McGuinness is an actor, comedian, and television presenter known for his versatile career in entertainment. Paddy initially gained recognition for his role in the comedy series Phoenix Nights and its spin-off Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. Paddy has hosted several popular TV shows, most notably the dating show Take Me Out from 2010 to 2019 and the motoring show Top Gear since 2019. He also became the host of the long-running sports quiz show A Question of Sport in 2021.

Paddy McGuinness has also pursued a successful stand-up comedy career, with several nationwide tours including the Dark Side Tour and Saturday Night Live Tour. After an eight-year hiatus from stand-up, he is currently on his "Nearly There" tour, performing across the UK and Ireland. Paddy has spoken openly about his experiences with autism, which led to the acclaimed BBC documentary Paddy and Christine McGuinness: Our Family and Autism. Paddy is also involved in charity work, particularly through participating in Soccer Aid, a charity football match that raises funds for UNICEF UK.
