Sabrina Cohen-Hatton is a distinguished Chief Fire Officer and a pioneering Research Fellow at Cardiff University specialising in behavioural neuroscience. She is one of the few women to have served at the top of the UK fire service. Sabrina's personal journey is one of remarkable resilience, having been homeless at fifteen and rising to become one of the highest-ranking female firefighters in the UK. She currently serves as the National Fire Chief's Council (NFCC) International Lead. Alongside her operational achievements, Sabrina earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Cardiff University, where her groundbreaking research on decision-making under stress has been widely recognised and applied.
